I was unable to believe many of the things that Phil was saying. I believe that some musicians have a political message based on the lyrics that they are singing, but those musicians write those lyrics for a reason. I do not feel that other musicians are unintentionally sending out a political message because of the beat or rythyms that they are using in their song. I do not feel that bands are evil because they are on a famous record label and I don't feel that people die because of Britney Spears (although I do feel her music is tremendously bad). I am going to continue to listen to the music that I listen to and I am not going to think twice about a band before I buy the CD. If I like a song, then it is good music in my opinion and NOTHING is going to change that for me.
