I definitely have thought about the implications of music that I purchase. If you don't know what you're buying you're just giving your money away. For instance, if I can get around purchasing concert tickets through Ticketmaster or Clear Channel and buy them directly from the venue like the Fox or Boulder Theater I will. If we keep supporting corporations like these they will continue to take over and continue to skyrocket their prices to see the music we love. This also goes for record companies that make money from the sales of music we buy.
