I to really enjoyed Phil's presentation. Although I felt phil's presentation was very interesting, I also thought the point he was trying to make was kind of disturbing. But at the same time, I understand where he is coming from. It was very interesting to get introduced to this idea of music being used to make a political statement. As Pam said, I never associated politics with music except when I saw a musician representing a politician who was trying to make a statement at some kind of conference or special event.
