(Quebec City)-In a late breaking story developing here at Le Colisee in Quebec City it seems that the Halifax Harpoons and the B.C. Huskies have agreed on a trade that would see the Huskies hand over their first round pick in 2011 plus young winger prospect Sergei Anshakov. It is in what is going the other way where things get interesting.

Originally according to sources within the organization, B.C. Huskies GM Rob Rutkowski apparently inquired about center Ron Francis. However the deal as it srands now is for Kip Miller and 6 million dollars plus a player to be named later.

While it is believed that that player will indeed be the 40 year old Francis was has thrown a monkey wrench into this deal is the fact that pivot Eric Lindros took a puck in the foot early in the third period of tonight's game and had to be helped off the ice. While the injury doesn't look to be serious the owrd is that he could miss the next three or four games.

"I've really have anything to add to the press release as far as what is happening with Ronnie," commented Harpoons GM Stephen J. Holodinsky, "other than the fact that we like the return we got for the deal we made."
