The management of the Edmonton Eagles have announce today after hours and hours of speculation that they have traded away Kevin Weekes, Trevor Letowski and Jan Hlavac to the B.C. Huskies.

In return, the Eagles gets a first round pick a second round pick and prospects Tomas Kloucek.

" Weekes is a really good player but we would have lost him in the waiver draft" Provencher said." However, he will be replace by Nurminen. "Letowski was a good role player but will need to be replace. Hlavac didn't figure in the team plans anymore with the arrival of Zetterberg and Hinote."

The management seemed to be really happy about this deal and expect more trades to take place. With the waiver drfat and all this team will be much better than last year.
