See why expansion rules were changed after the first expansion the NHL saw...and why (even though I think there was no foul play between Calgary and Colorado) Dean McAmmond was forced to sit out the last month of the season.

I think that this should not be allowed by the league as it completely defeats the purpose of the waiver draft (preventing stacking on the top teams in the league, giving the weaker teams a chance to become competitive).

The request is that a similar rule to the NHL is instated so that the waiver draft can actually function the way it is supposed to.
(ie. No player traded 30 days prior to the waiver draft be allowed to be traded back to their previous team within the course of the next season including time between the conclusion of the waiver draft and the preseason).
