Bobby, you are right. You have the nicest track in the area. Logan loves the track. The track has nothing to do with anyones motors blowing up. That could be anything(gearing, wore out, ect.) Why you are getting no karts I cant tell you. If you look around no track is getting karts. Every track in the area is averaging 11-12 karts a night except for Outlaw. Bob, I totally agree with you that there is no organized karting in this area and that hurts. I have not been in karting long enough to really no what I am talking about but the problem I see and why we did not go with any national rules is that since every track has been running by it own rules and the way the nations economy is today that it would be very hard to go and try and get all the locals to start changing things on their karts when most of us struggle to get to the track the way we are. As far as your first impression of Muskogee I hope the situation you are talking about happened long before my wife and I took over. We are trying our best to keep a good clean family atmosphere at Sooner State Jr Speedway. We have had no problems this year. And everyone likes the new track size. I am still working each week and getting it a little smoother. I know that last weekend there were a lot of things going on like graduations and such. We only had 13 karts saturday night. As far as the payback I could do without it. I don't think the kids should be racing for money at such a young age. Logan ran second the night we were there and he got $8.00 also. He would have rather have had a trophy. But these are all just my opinions and if I offend anyone I am sorry. If there are any good ideas out there for any of us to try and work together I am all for it. Who's next???
