We need to do some welding in a wilderness area. In a wilderness you cannot bring in anything motorized or mechanized. That rules out an arc welder. I have been told that it can be welded with an acetylene/oxygen set up. This project (a bat gate) will require welding 4" angle steel together. About 78 welds. Is this feasible with a torch? How long would it take to weld each joint? Thanks for your help.
