In my entire life, ironically, I have never taken an intelligence test. I heard some people obnoxiously brag about their high school and wondered how and when they have taken them. I have heard that IQ tests in the past have been culturally biased. I am not a great standardized test taker and all of my score never correlate with my academics. My scores on the ACT and GRE were lower than my peers in my classes, but I still maintained a high GPA all through my academic years; therefore, I believe that IQ tests scores will somewhat be like the results of other standardized tests I have taken.
My scores were: Classical IQ Results: Score 122 in the 93 percentile
Cultural Fair IQ test: Your performance on this test was near the population average, but well within the norm.
Emotional Intelligence Subscale IQ score = 123
Subscale percentile = 95
I was pretty surprised about my classical IQ score and my cultural fair score, especially when I was getting bored of it toward the end. I¡¦m pretty satisfied with my scores-wish it would have work for my ACT scoresƒº. The one test I am not surprised that I have a high score was the emotional intelligence test, because working for a financial corporation we had to go through many tests like these and training throughout the year. I am writing my essay on emotional intelligence in the workplace now, and I have learned a lot about the significance of the tests and the workplace and leadership environment. I have developed a stronger interest in this area of intelligence. All test results were pretty accurate, so I can¡¦t complain. The most challenging part of the Classical IQ test was the vocabulary though I did use context clues and elimination, but I did have fun with the math and logic sections.
