Hello! My name is Kelly Hanks and I am currently working on my master's in community agency counseling. Life Span is my last core class to take and then practicum, comps, and internship will round out my degree! I have really enjoyed the program thus far and am looking forward to this class. I was a Psychology/Human Development double major in undergrad at Virginia Tech and I am excited to revisit the developmental part of counseling. I currently work full time at Youth Villages as a Program Manager. I have been there for about 2 and half years and I love it. The job can be very stressful, especially while being in school, but I would not have it any other way. Aside from work and school I also found time to get married while living here in Memphis. I got married last August to a wonderful man who is amazing and very understanding of my passion and time constraints. The plan is to obtain my degree here in Memphis and then move back to our home state, Virginia. Once in Virginia I will continue to pursue counseling and we will begin our family! That's me in a nut shell!!
