My name is Jennifer de Wit and I'm a non-degree seeking graduate student. This is my fourth and final required class to earn my teacher licensure. I have a Master's Degree in Library Science and am currently working as a school librarian in a Memphis city high school. I recently took my Library Media Specialist Praxis exam and I'm hoping that this class will help to prepare me for the Praxis PLT as well as help improve my understanding of my students.

I'm originally from Pittsburgh, PA but I've lived in a number of different cities. I've been married almost 29 years and have a daughter who is a graduate student at the University of Memphis (and is friends with some of the students in this class). My son is a rising senior in electrical and computer engineering at Rice University.
