Dai, it was 56 Bty at Lurgan that year, there was an incident when some-one fell out of a landrover but not sure who. There was also a couple of shooting incidents but no-one from 27 got killed that year from IRA activity.

Hi,

I served with 56 heavy battery in Lurgan 1975.

There was no fatalities during our operational tour and to my knowledge no one was lost from the regt.

I do know we lost a couple of guys on a previous tour in 1973 I believe.
