Those are fun ^_^ Alison and Aeanagwen are more qualified to answer this than I am, since I'm more into Karen, Yuzuriha/Kusanagi, S/K, and Tokyo Babylon. But I did admire Kotori a lot and Kakyou greatly before he grew hair ;) His hair is evil I tell ya, evil.

Anyhows, I haven't read X9 in over a year, so this are mostly stray thoughts with no heads or tails, just stuff that came to mind when reading this post.

>When Kakyou is done delaying DoH-Kamui's death, he

>were to succeed in killing Kamui."

It's nice to get a little different from all the death wishes and to die for something wishes and to be killed by someone wishes, isn't it? I'm glad CLAMP put in something like that, that Kamui would lose Fuuma for good if /Kamui/ were to kill him.

>Two or three pages later, Kotori says [yet again] that

>break. Technically didn't she change the future, since

She did mention that the future wasn't fore-ordained. I guess we have to wait until the last manga to find out if she was right. Weird how her death gets things rolling, and it looks like from what you showed that it might be her death that changes the outcome in the end.

>But "this girl does not wish for Kamui's death." Which
>Kamui is being referred to is never specified.

It could be Fuuma. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Kamui had just chosen to be the Kamui of the Heaven then, so Fuuma would have had to be a DoE. Maybe it was fore-ordained that Kamui would win on what side he was. He just had to choose, so if that was the case, Fuuma would have to die, just like the movie.

Anyone wonder if the movie was really the future Kotori and Kakyou saw? Just a random thought ^^ If that's the case, thank goodess the future wasn't fore-ordained.

But you say either Kamui, Fuuma, or both. It is an interesting line, though, and a good one to ponder.

>She also said "I love them both," so naturally she
>would not want either Kamui to die. (Well, that's more
>or less a "duh" thing to say... XD; )

*lol* I do that a lot too, myself. But she's definitely a girl who loves both a lot.

>So maybe, just maybe, Fuuma will definitely come back?

For Kamui's sake and Kotori's, I hope so.
