I'm currently in my third year of university at the Academie le Tour and my boyfriend, Jake, is a Sophomore. We've known each other since I moved to Crystal Springs when I was seven and have been dating since about two months after Jake started university and have lived together for that time.
A couple of weeks ago Jake proposed to me, and of course I was thrilled-there's nothing I want more than to spend the rest of my life with him.

But my parents aren't happy with it, especially my mum, and have said that we're too young. She says she's worried that we're too young and that my grades will suffer, but she's being so unfair and even went so far as to say that if we don't forget the idea and wait until we've graduated to have a relationship she never wants to see Jake again. I'm really worried...I love my mum, but I love Jake more. What can I do to make her see that?
