Hello All, we are working on a hip new reality series, called House of Dreams, where some of the more well off families in Musicale, chip in to pay for housing repairs or revisions for families who deserve a change. We thought it would be a good idea to get some help from other SUN sims to choose our first home.
It's between two families at the moment, the Boisonberry Family and the Ivory family.
The Boisonberry Family is small, a singer mother ( Michelle Blu) and her son teenage son Joany live in a one room trailer. She's an artist, and does her best to support her son's pursuits through selling her art work. She'd go to work, but she's often times sickly, tired and weak. In serious aspiration failure, she'd love to be able to give her son a room of his own.
Joany, would love for his mother to have her own art studio...and bathroom seeing as their restroom facilities are currently located outside of their home and consist of a bathroom stall and a shower stall. He does his best in school, and tries to work odd jobs here and there...never really being able to keep a job that well.
The Design team at House of Dreams would love to give them a small and quaint, cozy yet modern home...two bedrooms, a real living room and kitchen. Her studio, perhaps a cool study like area for them and of course a couple of bathrooms. This family has a net worth of 14,789 so they could use the help.
The second family in consideration is the Ivory family. They have a touching story. Amelia and Bobby Ivory are an elderly couple. Amelia is on the Musicale Council, as the Botany expert...and her husband is a scientist. They opened up their home to orphaned children, with one bedroom...one bathroom, and not alot of room for them to play. When they accepted the first little girl Elizabeth, Bobby gave up his side of the bed and went to take the couch so that she had a place to sleep. They slowly saved up their funds to afford adopting their second child, a little boy named Toby. And most recently they've adopted another little toddler named Stacy.
Elizabeth, was a sullen little introverted girl when she arrived at the Ivory home, but with their love and nurturing she's blossoming into an amazing little artist...A+ student and confident big sister to her other adopted siblings. She's the one who wrote into House of Dreams to ask for us to try to do something for her kind and giving adoptive parents.
Toby, is a blessing to have around the house. He's outgoing and sweet, and had no problem fitting in. Doing things like cleaning up the kitchen or bathroom without being asked. His favorite thing to do? Is to cook. He said that Mama and Papa Ivory needed a new house because they are older and the house is small and not well suited to a house full of kids and two elderly people.
This family has a low but reasonable net worth, and their house revision would be done to child proof their home and give them space for their future adoptions. Also, to build Amelia the garden of her dreams.

So you can see, the staff here at House of Dreams has a hard choice to make. The Design Team of Te Leoni, Maria Davidson and Nick Handson...well, we have our work cut out for us no matter which family we choose, and both deserve a new start.
