Would appreciate knowing the disposition or any info you may obtain on Shadow 304M. We were a team at Tuy Hoa AB, RVN, during 1969-1970. Thanks.

1/5/09
I served between March 67-68, at Cam Ranh Bay RVN in the 12th SPS K-9.

My dog was Valentine 3F38.
He died in Feb.68 from stomach torsion(?) caused by fermrnting chow, that was probably left out in the sun too long in his kennel.
I was ordered to participate in his neucropsy and had to weigh his organs, ect. with the vet.Totally unnessessary, just after loosing my best friend.
Valentine was a warrior aat heart and always watched my back and loved to run off leash in the dunes. He was a hero to me and I'm only alive because of Valentine. Grusome,to say the least.I pray that no other handler had to do this, but I know that the vet needed my help in determining how he died. The vets had as much pain as I experienced.
It's taken 40 years and a lot of VA counseling to resolve survivor guilt.I'm 100% VA PTSD disabled. The PTSD did not come on until was about 55 when I retired as a sergant with the TxDPS,Texas Rangers.
Any info that is available in the reccords would be appreciated.
