Hi Nik,
The soul is an eternal life force and it never gives up on life, I don’t think it is you spirit and soul that wants to die, it is maybe part of your mind that feels that way. All I can suggest is that you work consciously and sub consciously on a more positive state of mind and forget what others who know little about the spirit have told you so you feel the way you do. Many problems in life can be resolved by positive thinks. All the best, Love & Light Neil.
