Our Ah Peks are mostly passive; they are active only when they cross the Thai border! That's the culture before dementia sets in! Of course there are always exceptions....., but don't expect too much out of the ordinary.
Keep up with your good work. Keeping the mind active is one sure way of delaying dementia. Keeping one small part of the body active excessively will hasten its decay faster.
If you don't believe what I have written, just be patience ....And even that root word or etymology means passion or suffering.
