Hi,

I was given the role of Cassius. Remembered Mrs. Rajendra commented I had that "lean and hungry" look. (Ray, Doc and THB may say I look hungrier now). We had a few rehearsals. Mrs. Rajendra also borrowed a LP record of Julius Caesar from British Council library. I took it home on 2 occasions and played it on the Grundig grammaphone with THB also straining his ears to enjoy the recording of the play. It was very interesting and kindle my interest in the subject we took for literature. Regretably the play was never staged. Incidentally, I managed a C3 for literature.

I remember we had 2 books for literature i.e. "Julius Ceasar" and "Pillar To Post". The concentration was on Julius Ceasar and we did not even turn a page of the other book. Till today I had not read a sentence from the book "Pillar To Post".

For the last 2 or 3 years, LG has been posting the message to beware The Ides of March. On these occasions, I would take out the book Julius Ceasar to read. Very refreshing. This is one book from our Form 5 days that I have kept until today.

I have no information on the whereabouts of Mr. & Mrs. Rajendra. Probably Hari or THB may be able to shed some light.

Regards.
