Donna J. Parrish Sexson

79, of Plainfield, formerly of Zionsville and Lafayette, died Sunday evening June 24, 2012. Donna was born June 21, 1933 in Indianapolis, IN to William and Virginia Robertson Parrish; they preceded her in death. Donna was also preceded in death by her brother, Larry Parrish; and her beloved husband, Joe Ward Sexson, former Butler University basketball coach and Purdue University baseball coach.

Donna was a 1951 graduate of Arsenal Technical High School. Mrs. Sexson worked many years for Radisson Hotels in Lafayette as their General Manager before retiring in 1997 after 27years of service.

Mrs. Sexson is survived by her sons, Rick (Ellen), Dan, and Mark (Judy); her grandchildren, Ryan, Travis, Ali, Bethany, Charlsie, Thad, Casey, Bo, and Emily; and her great-grandchildren, Kayden, Ely, Alex, Jace, and Abygail.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan - Zionsville . A funeral service will be 11:30 a.m., Friday, June 29, 2012 also at Flanner and Buchanan - Zionsville. Burial will follow the service at Salem Cemetery, Zionsville.
