Richard L. Fisher

69, Indianapolis, passed away August 24, 2012. He was born on March 3, 1943 in Indianapolis to the late, George H. and Mary F. (Hauger) Fisher. Richard graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1960 and from New Mexico State University in 1967 with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was employed with the State of Indiana for 34 years, retiring in 2005. Richard was a member of the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity and the Red Cross Radio Club. He was an avid Colts fan and friends of the BRT. Richard is survived by his brother, James Fisher; sister-in-laws, Nancy and Janet; brother-in-law, Robert Cross and eight nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, George and Paul "Tom" and sister, Margaret (Diane Cross).

Services for Richard will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, August 27, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, with visitation from 4 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday. Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 28 in Washington Park East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riley Hospital for Children.
