Subject: The Puppet Master Cometh pt1

The coldness is there again, haunting the setting as if it were a ghost. The darkness suffocates everything in it’s path. The snow covers all, hiding the tainted past of humanity. Standing amongst the pure white snow is a tall figure, dressed all in black. His face is unseen, his back to the camera. The snow continues to fall and is dusting the being in white flakes. The man remains almost like a statue except for a few small movements to adjust his gloves. All around him is decadence, the decay of society and the decay of passion. In the distance, a group of teenagers walk, laughing and carrying on in a grand fashion. Then two of the teens a boy of about 19 and a girl of 18 break off from the group. They are now only a few feet from where the dark figure is. The boy begins to force himself on the girl who is now screaming for help. When no one saves her she decides to save herself and knees the boy in the groin causing him to double over but not enough to stop him from hitting her. Repeatedly, he slaps her and then leaves her lying in the snow with nothing to save her.

Her face up close shows the tears and as one rolls down her cheek the shot follows it, it hits the ground and makes a small indent in the snow. Back to the figure who is now standing over the girl. He extends his hands and helps her up, wiping away her tears with his gloved hand. She doesn’t seem scared and she doesn’t flee. She finds the man’s eyes and in it she knows that all is going to be right. She leaves still hurting from the attack but somehow saved. The dark figure simply remains and moves towards one of the posts nearby. He leans against it and lets a deep breath out, the breath hangs in the air and then disappears. Finally after so much silence the man begins to speak:

Man: The CWF is in a downward spiral, a state of decay. Those in charge do not understand their responsibilities, they do not know what they are doing. They forget that I am the puppet master, I run the show without their help. I am the one who takes the CWF to the top of the mountain and I am the one who will see it burn into ashes. I have seen the CWF resurrect itself from nothing, and I have seen the very beginning, the creation of the CWF. I have seen many a champion walk to that ring, knowing that it is for one reason only that they damn near kill themselves each night. I have seen superstars leave that ring on stretchers and I have seen those same men receive standing ovations for their efforts. The current crop of CWF superstars have shown me nothing that can even remotely be described as passion.

The man’s back is to the camera and his eyes seem fixated on the sky.

Man: On Glory, I will make my presence felt and I will show the world, just what the Puppet Master can do! There will be no stone left unturned and no body left untouched!

The camera fades out as the girl who has stopped crying is being consoled by the mysterious man.
