That was a hard day. My little boy said at the end of the day, "I didn't get to see my dad"

In school they made cards for the dads. He wanted to give his to his dad. This makes me so sad for him although at the same time I know he is better off without him.

My oldest sons dad called on Saturday to see if he could pick him up on Sunday for the day. I haven't heard from him in 2 1/2 years. My son sees him when his grandpa takes him to his work. So he went and had a fabulous time and my youngest was very envious.

I took my youngest son to my friends house for a barbeque. He had an ok time, but I could see how it was on his mind. Luckily it has passed and we can move on to today.
Today his class went on a Field trip to the LA Zoo. I couldnt take the day off so Bernie went with the class. He is a really good man. Too good I think. He still hasn't had the heart to cut the strings with Spencer. Spencer rents a room from him at his condo. He told Spencer to leave our son to live a happy life with Heather and TJ (my older son). He sees Spencer all the time and told me the same thing. Spencer is better off without his dad. .
Anyhow, just writing what is on my mind.
