I live with what I have done everyday of my life, there isn't a day that goes by that I don't thank god for giving me a second chance at life. But the guilt I'm afraid will never go away. I was court ordered at one time to attened NA meetings, I went, only to find new connections and people to use with after the meeting, went back and told the judge it wasn't for me, and told him why. He agreed and said that was something he didn't think could happen and would certainly consider it the next time he ordered someone to N/A. I guess what I should have said was.... they should not go to meetings for drug addicts, maybe try AA or something different than their own addiction. You are so right, they are faced with people who are just like them and have done the same things. If they knew how it would destroy the lives of not only them selves but the innocent people they drag into it with them, I'm sure they would never have gotten high the first time, but your told how great it is and how fun it is and how good you will feel, when you do it! The, YOUR LIFE AND YOUR FAMILIES LIFE WILL BE RUINED part is never told to you. It's a vicious drug, that leads to a life of hell.
