Have I offended you in some way? It seems you attack everything I have to say? I do not mean to sound negitive, I am just trying to be realistic. My life quiet, normal, carefree life has been turned upside down and inside out because my daughter CHOSE to do meth and is now addicted. I didn't do this drug, I didn't ask for this pain nor do I want it. I do have to find a way to deal with it. I am not an addict nor have I ever been one. I have read EVERYTHING out there trying to educate myself. I have my daughter in a 12-15 month long term, in house rehab 1000 miles from home. Do you think this is cheap? (she has no insurance and is an adult) Guess who is paying for it? Do you think it's a waste of my money? If so what do you suggest I do with a 20 year old who is strung out on meth and lies and steals? I have a younger child...do I just say the hell with it and bring her into our home and HOPE for the best? Take the chance that she won't sell my things when my back is turned, or that her druggie friends won't be at my house while I am at work? You seem to have all the answers..what do I do?? I am not trying to be a bitch, I am looking for answers. I am looking for help. Not only have I had to see the effects of this drug that I was totally blind to, effect my daughter, I get to see first hand how it is effecting my young son and my marriage as well. So maybe you are right, if you want to know about addiction an ex-addict is the one to ask...If you want to know about a mothers heartache ask a mother of an addict. Kel
