What she is doing is typical of meth addicts. Minimizing. Under no circumstances is it all right to steal a credit car. What she stold it and someone else used it? Even if what she is saying about someone else doing the charging is true that doesn't mean that her part in it was ok. She took it knowing full well what it would be used for. Don't let her fool you. The more you even listen to that stuff the more it hurts. I have listened to plenty of it and if I could do any of it over I would not even engage in those kind of conversations. (when I was hearing the lies etc)
As for you Bren my heart goes out to you. I know the tears and the confusion. They will play with your mind until you go crazy. That is just part of the deal. They believe their own lies. Try to detach yourself as much as you can. (I know that sounds silly when she just comitted a crime against you) And like kayla said you really need God right now. I got to a point where the only thing that could take me away from the pain was to just sit with my face in the bible reading. Trying to fill my mind with God's word instead of what satan was throwing at me. This board is definitely of God. Stay here and we will all pray for you.
