You are so right it is not a easy journey. You do need to attend meetings and be around other recovering addicts,change your habits change your friends, Tammy M said it so well.First you have to want to change and right now you cant worry about how you have hurt others or how bad of a person you are because that is just a downer and all that will do is pull you down. I have 51/2 years clean and no it is not easy and if you put as much effort into your recovery as you did getting high than you will get there, but like I said you have to want this for you not for everybody else, get to those meetings even if you dont feel like going make yourself go you will feel so much better, and to be able to feel good about your self is a great feeling, Heal from the inside out. You will be in my prayers and continue to come back to this board as there are some great people here that can help you with your JOURNEY.
