Thank you Shari for your words. Yes I am very frightened of raising my 2-year old grandson I am 45 years old.

Nancy is my only child so my whole world has turned upside down not anly for her sickness but for all the changes I had to make.
The social worker called yesterday and said she has to turn in the adoption papers to the court, she told me that she could not reach my daughter or the baby's father to inform them. Should I tell them or should I let it go???

The paternal family is very involved in the baby's life they have been since my daughter was pregnent. The father's older brother acts like he was the father he spends time with him buys him toys shoes and clothes every week.
The father on the other hand never calls me to see how she is and of course never comes to see her.

I do have a question. Nancy was arrested for possesion of meth, she spend 3 days in jail when she went to court the judge made her go to a outpatient program, she of course got kicked out because she tested dirty in one of the on demand tests. She has court next month what happens then also when she appeard in court the last time I wrote a letter saying that she was using and selling drugs which proved that she was breaking her provation the judge said the at the time he could not use the letter because had entered the program, so know the he has prove that she violated her probation does she go back to jail or what happpens next... Again thank all of you and god bless you...
