I would say to you to move on, as hard as it is, you have to do it. I know how hard it is. I am doing it too. And if the your daughter chooses to have anything to do with his family, I would let them know that her dad is not a topic of discussion. She needs to move on too. She is under 18, so you are in charge of that. What they talk about when she reaches 18 is entirely up to her, but for now, to save her sanity, I wouldn't share any of the issues with her. She knows what is going on, that is enough. She doesn't need reminders and they are selfish to think that you need reminders. I wouldnt even read the emails, letters, etc..as hard as it is, I wouldnt read them. It is a very unhealthy situation and moving on means moving on from all of that too. I hope this helps, cause it is the same things you hev told me to help me.
My heart is with you and your daughter.
Heather
