 Well, after much investigating and phone calls, I found out that I don't have a chance in hell to get child support now that he does not have a job. Child Support Division told me that as long as he is not receiving a pay check, his earned income is zero -then that's the amount I get -zero! They instructed me to call the Legal Aid Society who told me that they only deal with custody issues, and only for low income which I do not qualify as. So -basically b/c he went from making 6 figures and paying me a half way decent amount of money each month, since he decided to be a crystal meth addict and stop working, and live off of his very enormous savings and the money he makes off of his two homes, my daughter gets no money to help suppport her. It is frustrating that any father can work under the table, sell drugs, be a bum, or have a shit load of money doing real estate investments and never have to give one cent to the child they helped bring into the world. While I make a decent living and work hard to work and raise my child alone. The system is not built for those working, college educated single moms and no good, hide thier money fathers. Very frustrating!!
