I just got back from Sam's Club and I ran in to my ex boyfriends niece. I was 15 when I met him and he had already started using and I did too. I used only 4 months and got in trouble and never touched it again. Well he kept using, his brother used, his older sister and her husband used (they had 3 kids, well I don't know about their son, but both of their daughters started using. I remember when I first left Spencer back in February 2002, I saw his neice and she had just gotten clean. She was waiting at the bus stop. She was with her little boy. She was on her way to rehab and had just earned visits back with her little boy and he was going with her to her sessions. They taught her to be a mother, etc.....So today I see her and she is going to be a Police Officer or Crime Scene Investigator. I am so proud of her so I had to share her story.
Back in the days, the meth split up her entire family. Her mom and dad got divorced after the dad was caught cheating. I wondered why they gave my ex a car...........he was selling drugs to them and they had no more money. These people had a beautiful home, a beautiful family, and meth took it all. The house went to foreclosure and they all went their separate ways. The mom then partied until one day she realized she was pregnant. She and her baby's dad quit using. They moved away from the city, got married, bought a house and now have three little girls.
My ex is still using, his brother is in jail til 2009, the other daughter just recently got out of jail, has her own place and now takes care of her 4 year old son.
WOW!
