That is a good story about hope and changes people can make. The thing that intrigues me the most Healther is the fact that you have a huge network of people in your life that use and are addicted to this drug. I am curious why you think that is so? It is very interesting to me on a psychological aspect. I have never known one single person who ever even tried meth until my daughter's father confided that he was a user for a year. Until him, and since him, I don't know one person in my life's journey that has this drug as a part of their lives. I am just wondering how it seems to be all around you. Is it your environment, age, personality type, coincidence, family dynamics, or crappy luck? ;)
I know this drug is everywhere and addicts are of all ages, race, socioeconimic background -there are no steriotypes or descrimination to who this drug destroys - but to have so much of it surrounding your life, acquantances, friendships, and family members really interests me. And more importantly, how to change that dynamic before your children are older so it does not surround them as it has you?
What do you think?
