Yes it all makes sense, but I want to add something -
No one wants to see someone destroy their life. We all love the addicts that are in our life or were in our life. With that said - letting go means not even worrying if they are hitting their bottom or if something we do or did can help them get there. We need to only think of ourselves and our kids.

Someone told me this earlier this year. It doesn't matter what he does, you make better decisions for your life and you will see God working.
