Subject: Husband arrested - what do I do now?

My husband has been smoking or snorting meth on and off for the past 2+ years. I have threatened all kinds of consequences, but he only makes empty promises. We had a big argument after Thanksgiving. I cooked and cleaned for a big crowd of mostly his family - while he did nothing but party and work on the computer. I started sleeping in another room over the past few days. This morning he finally blew up and starting screaming at me again - basically blaming me for having a bad attitude. Then he tried to choke me. I called the police. He got arrested for domestic violence and then the cops found meth and his pipe in our house. I haven't heard from him since he was released from jail this afternoon. He has never been in trouble with the law before - in fact was in the military with no problems for decades. I don't know what to do when he makes contact. I think I should tell him to get outpatient drug abuse help before I let him in the house. But then our entire source of income depends upon him having access to his computer in our house. I am also working in the house - and my income depends on his work output. Any suggestions? Thanks - I have read your posts and I totally respect the strength you have shown. I want to be the same. :o)
