His mom writes me back today. She wrote that because there is so much animosity between her son and me (yeah, he's a meth addict who abandoned his daughter) and between her and I because she has chosen to stand by her son -she thinks it best to not have any communication with me. She asked for my daughters email address so they can have dialogue. I sent her a response that simply stated that she is very hurt by her father and it has manifested itself into anger towards him and anything associated with him -and gave her email address to her. I am so mad I could spit, I am so frustrated I could cry. How in the world can this woman continue to support her drug addict son who abandoned his daughter -not once, but twice -who lives 2miles from his daughter yet does not have any contact with her and has stopped paying child support -yet doesn't want to communicate with ME? What the hell did I do wrong except to protect my daughter from his drug addicted behavior? My daughter is the innocent party who has been hurt here -yet she 'stands by her son'???? I DO NOT GET IT!!!
My child support court hearing is tomorrow. Say a prayer for me and my daughter. I doubt he will show up in court, but if he does it will be a very rough day!
Did I do the right thing by giving her my daughters email address? I just want to ensure that my daughter knows that I did not ever stand in the way of her having a relationship with his family -though I am thinking she would probably be more healthy to just have nothing to do with her dad or his family ever again. Any words of wisdom???
