A meth precursor is the products that carry the effedrine and psuedoeffedrine in them. Each state has their own laws about how much is legal for an individual to have on them along with how much is legal for them to purchase in a 24 hour period all the way up to 30 days. Amazingly, Illinois didn't put a lot of the "anti-meth" laws into effect till 1/1/06. I wonder if they're finally figuring out how bad the meth epidemic really is...
