 I received an email from my daughters dad asking to get together to go over a schedule of when he will have her again. He wants 2 nights a week and everyother weekend!WTF?? Yeah right!! I replied that I am sticking to what I told him-until he gets clean, will take drug tests, has a long standing of remaining clean, takes his illness seriously I will not allow him to see her. I know that he will come back at me with demands. My question here is: What are my first steps to getting some type of order from the courts saying that until he tests negative, he can not see her? If possible I don't want to hire an attorney as I called one and was told it would be a $3,000 retainer. I just can't afford that. Will someone please tell me what I need to do. I have learned from his mom that he has supposidely stopped using -his email said he was going to be 'traveling for a few weeks' -I am assuming he is going into treatment. I do not fear him being violent or showing up to my house -I just want to have my ducks in a row if I need to get a court order backing up my decision.
