Zero child support? There is no such thing. Income or not, each state has an absolute minimum you get based on how many children they are responsible for. This doesn't mean you'll get money....it just means that you will get an amount, and he will go into arrears. It keeps adding up.
You need to start healing instead of being angry. Your emotions affect your daughter more than you realize. By you having this anger at him, he has control over you when he isn't even trying.
I know it is difficult to get things going when you have a new job. Write down a list of the things you need to get taken care of, and tackle them one by one when you can find a way to work them into your schedule.
