I am on vacation right now and have my court date on Friday. My stomach hurts and my nerves are shot although I know everything will be just fine. I know there is nothing to worry about.
My step mom and I talked this weekend and she told me something that made so much sense to me.
She said there will be those people in your lives and they are mostly addicts, that will make you feel the highest of high when it comes to happiness and love, but they are the same people that can make you feel the lowest of low. SHe has been there and I was shocked that someone else in my family can tell me that they have been there and they had to let go because that is an unhealthy love. She says the love I need to find in my life is one that isn't perfect, but she put it in a percentage point of view. Spencer made me feel over a 100% of happiness and love but what is healthy is 80%, the love for myself will make up the other 20% and never let that fall below 70% and she says this because sometimes there will be arguements and I might feel bad but I should never feel ill over love like I have. She also said that when that ill love is in your life you are always wondering where they are, when they are coming back, did they forget about me ? eetc..........oh my gosh I never told her about the way he made me feel, she knew because it happened to her and she says it is better to let it go and find something more stable and someone you are happy with everyday. WOW, I am glad we talked. Not that I didn't know all of that but when someone puts it in to a different perspective, it changes things. THe man Spencer lives with told me that too but he told me in a different way. Now I know that I can never go back, I must move forward. THis was the best vacation.
Please pray for me as I iwll be going to court on Friday. My son needs your prayers as well as he will most likely have to deal with this man and he will be entering in to the ups and downs of this man's love until I can document for the court his efforts vs. non efforts. It's in God's hands and I will trust him to do what is in his plan.
