We call it: "taking up space in your head", and realistically, he doesn't deserve the valuable space he's taking up, oh, actually, you're giving to him - free of charge. An Al-Anon or Co-dependency meeting is great. It helps. It helped me. You are powerless to anything that this man will do so move forward healthily. I will pray for your peace.
