I hear you completely... I go to court tomorrow for custody and support...My husband does the exact same thing... "I am a shitty mom" actually I get "it took me to leave for you to become a mom again" well ya that is true because I HAVEN'T TOUCHED NOTHIN SINCE THE DAY HE WALKED OUT OUR DOOR! I always told him if he was gone I wouldn't do the shit! I haven't seen a dime since April 10 .... not the same man I married...never ever thought he would do this to his own...last saturday he called me at midnight actually it was a cop that called "I have your husband here and he has asked to call you...go figure when he got on the phone I asked what he was in for he had me guess so I said "you got raided"... but no he assaulted his new girlfriend and then said "its ironic isn't it" funny ....how every time that I got abused by him somehow it was always my fault...He said he has no family or friends He had one phone call and he chose me...LOL!!! That was father's day All weekend i carried around his father's day gift with the kids ...they hadn't talked to him since may 26 now all i was thinking is how the hell i am to tell them that their dad is in jail...thinking he is gone for awhile with his past record...but he got out ...one of his old..good,good buddies bailed him out. I believe he is in a good place now if he doesn't screw it up it's where he needs to be anyway. Time will tell...Needless to say he hasn't called his kids at all since father's day (doesn't suprise me) I am sorry I can't give advice I need to vent....Mine is no different...Once he gave a shit...now there is nothing....I do not understand any of it... Was an addict for 9 years mainly to crack but I do not think I could turn a blind eye to my kids...not ever. I believe for me even if they did get taken from us I beleve I would quit..THAT'S JUST ME THOUGH!
