I had to have a drug evaluation when my "ordeal" started. My husband was the one that got busted having a meth party, and my toddler was smack dab in the middle of it...I was in the hospital as I gave birth to my youngest the day before.

Anyway...since DCSF couldn't get a hold of him, they took it out on me. I had a two hour conversation with a drug specialist regarding my opinions, useage, etc. on drugs. Then she dropped me (urine test), told me she didn't think I needed any treatment, but would set me up on a random check meaning someone would stop by for me to pee in a cup for them for the next six months.

Usually places that do evaluations only have outpatient treatments. Get real! Meth useage is not an outpatient treatment type of drug. When will our politicians and people in charge of this type of things get a clue?

You need to contact your MIL and ask how much she knows about meth addiction, and possibly enlighten her quite a bit more.

I knew a girl that was going to one of these outpatient treatment things because she was trying to get her son back from the system. They dropped the entire class once before starting that session, and not one of them passed. DUH!!!!
