My father-in-law is a retired cop. He told me that corruption runs so great among the forces and I whole-hearted believe that.

When the police were at the scene the last time my husband was found during a meth absence, the police wouldn't come close to him. They stood on the sidewalk while he sat on the front steps. To make it worse, he had stolen my vehicle and didn't have a license, but since we were married, they wouldn't arrest him...but they threatened to arrest me while I was eight months pregnant because I kept saying, "Please, where is the van? The diaper bag and your son's prescriptions are in it!"

What is wrong with our system???
