Gosh this letter sounds like me! I am going through the same thing like every other mother on here. It is very very hard. I watched oprah today and it was about Meth. It helped me a lot. The users lost everything then realized they needed help. There is a free drug rehab in Florida run by a former drug addict turned pastor. I saw him on tv. He has a website. They have to stay I think 9 months if they go there. It is based on religion and God. And at this point that is their only hope. It is called Total Freedom Program. You might want to check it out incase your son will go there. I am waiting for my son to call once he hits rock bottom and I will fly him there for help. Many drug addicts get cured through religion. They need that to help them cope during tough times. God Bless and hang in there. They can live if they choose to. You cannot change them until they are ready for a change.
