It is the only thing that worked for my Aunt...........my cousin cleaned his life up immediately after he had no safe haven to run back to. He had to sleep in a car for about a month and he didn't like it....but she didn't let him come home, I took him to a Men's home and he stayed there got clean and then came home, took his pregnant girlfriend and moved to a different state to start over......they take huge steps when they finally decide. It is not impossible...the ones that make it seem like brain surgery, are the one's who aren't serious about staying clean yet. Tough Love does work.
