Bren - You are correct that your daughter needs to surround herself with a new circle of friends. That is one of the keys to longevity in sobriety. A critical part of this is her finding a 12 step program that supports her. Almost every town has an AA program in or near it. While she may not be an alcoholic yet, they will still be supportive of her needs. Also, Crystal Meth Addicts Anonymous is growing rapidly, and may have a program near you. Other than that, SHE must realize that old habits and people can lead to relapse. If she has hit her bottom, then she might. If not, then she will continue to use and hang with the same people. I have been clean a month now. There is hope, and life is GLORIOUS! Tell her one recovering addict promises so.
