Hello, I spoke to Pete yesterday and he mentioned your car, sounds like its pretty far gone... but then you can always restore anything if you have the time, patience and money. He said you'd not paid much for it so i can imagine its in need of some mega TLC. The Paris Beetle he mentioned is good and would save you alot of grief(its always grief with vw's!!). Sounds like a big job for your first attempt at this sort of thing. Anyway, why don't ya pop down to the club on sunday, lots of people to offer advice. P.s. pete is part of the club as well!
