Hi.......What it sounds like that happens to you is what you call "sleep paralasys", which happens when your in the state of being between the periods of being awake and asleep.......I don't know much about it, apart from what i've read. I've had it myself and it is a very common thing and it does happen to practically everyone at least once in a lifetime. The intensity of it ranges from just being paralysed, which i think happens because your brain is half awake, half asleep, but your muscles are, if you like, still asleep, hence the paralasys.......but it can also go to the extremes as what you experience, voices etc. Some sceptics even go as far to say that this is how people experience alien abductions. The most common version of sleep paralasys is the feeling of being paralysed and having a feeling of something pressing down on you, making it feel as though you can't breathe. Folklore states that people who got that and didn't know what it was <in the old days> believed it to be a form of demon sitting on the host's chest and squeezing the life out of it's victim. These were put into 2 categories, Incubus for a male and Succubus for a female <i think it's that way around>. It is a frightening experience, even just to feel paralysed, cos your brain is sort of awake and it's telling you to move, but you can't cos the muscles are still "asleep", hence the probable feeling of fear. I get it as far as feeling paralysed and having the air squeezed out of me, but luckily have never heard voices or seen apparitions <which does happen>, hence some sceptics suggesting alien abductions. That's really it to be honest and as i say that is what i've read about the subject, but i am no expert....but just to say that it's nothing to worry about as like i said, everyone gets it in one form or another at least once in a lifetime.....Hope that answers your question.
