I grew up near the Silent Pool, lots of the local children go ghost hunting there, or at least they did. The figure that I remember seeing is very faded and shadowed, a lady in saxon clothes with her hair in two long braids under a veil who seems to blend into the bushes opposite whichever side of the Silent Pool you are on. It's a lovely place, but very sad. When she appeared all of the outside sound of the nearby traffic and other people seemed to go mute, although you could hear the movement of the water in the pool very clearly.
