Hi,
I went to the silent pool the other day, it was very tranquil.
Its funny that someone should see a girl in saxon clothing. The legend DOES date back to saxon times, but it also states that when the girl died she was naked as she was bathing.

I'm no good at links, but type this in to find the site with the legend on.

I personally didn't experience anything there, but its a nice place to visit, and my Dad's best man helped to build the hut there.
